Redundancy Pay

There are many factors that determine your actual entitlement. However, these are key points in the process.

  • For Redundancy Pay to be due, you must have at least 2 years continuous employment.

  • Payment is subject to a statutory limit of £538 a week from 6 April 2020 (prior to that date, the limit was £525).

  • The number of weeks used is based on your age and length of service.

  • There is a calculator (follow this link to it) on the Government’s web site that will show the number of weeks redundancy pay to which you are entitled.
