Ian has gained over 25 years Corporate Insolvency experience, having worked at Begbies Traynor and PricewaterhouseCoopers before establishing Jones Lowndes Dwyer LLP in 2005.

Examples of Ian’s work includes:-

Securing a purchaser for a North West food manufacturer through a distressed sale, enabling the continued employment of its staff. In the process, the asset based lender was assisted to recover its invoice finance and loan facilities in full.

Acting for and advising a board of Directors on the restructuring and disposal through Administration of a substantial Motor Dealership chain, preserving both the core business and also the employment of its staff.

Advising a national pub chain on the disposal of loss making sites through Liquidation, whilst restructuring the profitable elements of the group.

Acting for numerous haulage and logistics companies providing solutions through Administration and Liquidation proceedings.

Restructuring a heating engineering company, preserving jobs with a new management team.

Advising an owner managed business on the winding up of a large construction company.
